Anna +Lobsters - silly price tag = Charlotte Taylor

I will caveat this whole post with this warning - it makes no sense having actually seen Anna's dress but i still think of Charlotte Taylor when you say lobster so I'm going with it.

Having been (decent speed) Internet less for most of the day i have been imagining the 'Lobster' dress that Anna Wintour wore last night to the Met ball.

My imagination started at this....

Woman's Dinner Dress Made in Paris, France, Europe February 1937
Designed by Elsa Schiaparelli, French (born Italy), 1890 - 1973. Designed in collaboration with Salvador DalĂ, Spanish, 1904 - 1989.

And to me, the next step in making this dress better was to produce a repeating lobster pattern ala Charlotte Taylor and cover the whole dress it in.

So Anna's dress actually looked like this...

And whilst she looks lovely i still would have preferred her in some CT.

Perhaps this with some diamonds....

Bee Panel Dress

Or this instead of the stole....

Small Bonsai Large Scarf

What do you think ?

Ps: if anyone has an unloved (i highly doubt this, as they are just AMAZING) CT Lobster scarf looking for a home, i can offer a very very loving home.
