Furla Candy

The red glittery Candy is A-MAY-ZING - I NEED this is my life

Finally I have found them

I don't/cant wear heel's, yet at only 5'2 i need all the help i can get.

Having become slightly addicted to and their iphone app i have decided that a pair of flatforms will be perfect for me. Some extra height, but the ability to still walk !!

This girl is to blame but i shall mention her more another day !!

Anyway's, i think i have found my perfect pair of flatforms....

What do you think ?

Vagabond have a HUGE range of shoes (and colours, they do an orange Gaga).

Pass on their own story to the next generation

I love the fact that twitter is constantly pointing me in the direction of new (to me) amazing designers with truly lust worthy collections and my latest twitter discovery is Emmanuel Katsaros.

The website is BEAUTIFUL - highly worth a visit, even if from what i say in the rest of this short post makes you think you wont like the collections.

Also the whole label ethos is right up my street. I have written before that i love the idea of owning quality pieces that will last me for years and that i can pass down to Paige. However, many of the timeless classics, while beautiful are void of a certain element of personality (which is why they are classic, and that's not a bad thing). But, with the EK collections your getting the quality with a spark of your own personality, as the label would say....

"For those who want to pass on their own story to the next generation"

The website has got the A/W 11 and S/S 12 collections on and whilst i like every piece in the S/S collection, i think you all know by now that the A/W collections are going to be more me.

Before i even look at a collection now i try to read about the inspiration as i think it makes you look at the clothing in a completely different way, you can appreciate what the designer was trying to achieve even if the clothing is not to your personal taste.

There were many key phrases used to describe this collection (A/W11) that meant i was in love with it from the start.

Exploring Black as a shadow
Full of dark drama
Thirties Germany
Bauhaus movement
palette of beige to black to black via asphalt
Iconic Teapots
Playful dramatic twist
Illusion of skin

and here are pictures of 2 of my favourite pieces from the collection

I fell in love with the ! bag and round sunglasses instantly, in my dreams i would wear these every day, and then as Paige reached adulthood i would pass them on to her.

Alternative Accessories Alphabet ~ P

P ~ Peter Pan Collar

a small, flat, round-cornered collar without a stand, popular for women's and children's clothing in the early- and mid-20th century. Peter Pan collars are a popular collar style for younger children. The rounded Peter Pan collars are generally but not always worn without ties or bows.

I have found so many collars I like, and they are all from the fabulous Lumina on etsy

The collars are £12 each (with the exception of a leather studded one (my favourite) which is £18)with shipping in the UK only £1 (£3 internationally) - a complete Bargain !!

Also, some come with option of customisable ribbon which is available in a wide variety of colours..

Black,White,Cream,Dusky Pink,Purple,Navy,Grey and Cherry Red

I'm now off to raid my wardrobe to see what i could wear 1 (or 3) with so i can justify a purchase as they would make any outfit OOTD worthy !!

Wearing your heart on your chest

I'm slightly obsessed with the movie Ginger Snaps (and the other 2 movies in the trilogy) at the moment - using werewolfism as a metaphor for puberty is just genius.

Tee's from who are slowing gaining a majority in my wardrobe - I really really need the rather be dead than cool tee

Im stealing her style again : Alexis Knox

My style crush on Alexis is no secret - I have posted about her before and if you follow me on twitter you will regularly see me retweeting my favourite outfits from her.

And this weekend she tweeted what has been my favourite everyday outfit yet

This would be my version....

Suspended at Sea, High-Waisted Sailor Pants with built-in Suspenders
 Bow and Arrow $154
They may seem a little expensive BUT they are made to your exact measurement.
I would LOVE to own these as I dont actually have any jeans at all !!!

For the top I am struggling to decide between

Kokon to Zai

Kokon to Zai
(who i will dedicate a whole post to shortly as i LOVE every single piece in the AW collection)

All that glitters

If there is one time of the year when you can go at bit OTT with the glitz it is Christmas and i have found the pieces that i would like to add my my accessory wardrobe for this Christmas season.

All that glitter

I think these special edition gold cameras released by Lomography are perfect for this party season.

I have a Diana Mini which i am loving  - I'm practically wearing it like a necklace, and as its so much fun to use i feel like I'm producing a work of art every time i use it
(once i get the films developed i Will share the results)

Diana Mini Gold

• Film Type: 35 mm film

• Lens: 24mm (30mm equivalent on 24x36, 35mm equivalent on 24x17)

• Frame Format: 24mm x 24mm & 24mm x 17mm (select on body)

• Multi-exposure: yes

• Dimension: 70mm x 101mm x 60mm

• Retail price: £109 (purchased HERE)

Even if you don't need a camera yourself i would highly recommend this as the perfect Christmas gift (I have a fish eye camera and a multi lens camera on my Christmas list) !!

Every detail of this camera, down to the instruction booklets that come with is a work of art.

For the man in your life

If my husband was interested in anything more than computer games for Christmas then maybe i would be buying these instead of just posting about them.

However as he isn't i thought i would share some of the bits i have seen in case your struggling for present ideas for the man in your life.

A new love affair

My relationship with River Island has always been a bit rocky
(Stunning clothes, bit pricey, not everything appears to go up to an 18, but then some bits do and i suppose some is better than none)

However, I have fallen well and truly in love with a dress from there
 (although i don't own it - yet !!!)

With offerings like this RI will struggle to fall out of my favour any time soon.

up to size 18 !!

Wednesday would approve !!

Here are some more beauties that i could see becoming wardrobe staples - if i only had the pennies...

Perfection Personified

This current Wonderland cover has to be my FAVOURITE cover of any magazine ever (in fact i think the whole issue is one of my favourites, and seeing as it's a December issue it will be being kept for Paige untill her 18th)

Charlotte Free in Frankie Morello

I would sell my soul to own this Frankie Morello shirt - I think it is one of the most beatiful shirts and prints i have ever seen.

Whilst i know i may struggle to even get my arms in it, let alone do it up, it would make my year just to have it in my wardrobe.

My favourite things

My black and white Maxi skirt from H & M
My Lydia necklace from the A-MAY-ZING Wonderland Contraband
My hair is waved using my favouritest every hair tool - The Enrapture Jumbo Waver

I had mixed feelings towards the Enrapture Totem Curler, but i have put those aside and fallen head of heels for my Jumbo waver - I use it daily !!!

If I want obvious waves i use it in the morning before i go out, but if i just want a messy look i use it before i go to bed so in the morning i just have the movement.

It has a variable heat setting (which is fantastic for when i have clip in extensions in)and it still heats up really quickly. My hair is super thick and this works like a dream, and as i said above i can sleep on my hair and still have obvious movement.

I think this is definitely worth the money, (£74.99 from Boots) as with the Totem curler the quality is outstanding, and with Christmas coming up i think this would make the perfect gift for a best friend or a sister !!!

I have my fingers crossed that Enrapture expand the product range as i for one can never have enough hair tools.(Hint hint - a waver with a smaller barrel would be nice to make faux finger waves)

Inspired by Shilo

I'm trying to expand my TV viewing and this week I watched
Repo! The Genetic Opera

I tend to avoid white, but I kinda would like a white dress in my collection now and I absolutely love this Jarlo one  (could help that the styling and model makes it look like it could have been in Repo !!)

I cant see it in the Online Boutique at the moment so in the meantime i will be look at knee high socks and trying to find a +size equivalent.
